Whether you're a student at Purdue or a family in town, Chabad is here for you. From classes on Jewish topics for kids and adults to chicken soup on Friday night. A helping hand in times of need. Chabad is a home away from home for every Jew in Greater Lafayette. We are dedicated to serving our community - and now we’re asking for your support to help us build a bright Jewish future, together.
Running an operation like Chabad at Purdue requires a major investment of time, energy, and capital. We have recently acquired a new property that will serve as our new Chabad center for all our activities. This will have a major impact on the realm of possibilities of what we can accomplish for Jewish life at Purdue. Rather than charging membership fees or exorbitant event prices, which could alienate some people, we rely on the generosity of the community that we serve. To that end, a few generous donors have come forward with a proposal to help Chabad cover the majority of the costs for the new building. All that is left is $20,000 for the remainder of the costs to make the new Chabad center a reality. During this campaign, every dollar you donate will have an incredible impact on the future of Jewish life!
You can be a partner in everything we do to benefit the residents Greater Lafayette and the Jewish students at Purdue by contributing to our campaign this week, and by spreading the word. Maimonides says that every good deed, no matter how small, tips the scale of humanity toward goodness. Today you have the opportunity to see the impact of that deed multiplied many times over. Join us by making a donation today!
